If they get eliminated in the second round and has a chance to join a team like NY I think he will sign with them. Plus he will have a better chance to win a championship with Melo and TC than he will with Blake

I thought Amares shite knees would stop anyone from wanting him but I read somewhere that some cap and/or cash strapped team might take him bc most teams have insurance policies to help cover a players salary if an injury is severe enough
No idea if there is any veracity to that claim but if true maybe ATL figures they can avoid paying Smith and mitigate a large chunk of Amares contract.

I don't get this move at all. CP3 isn't leaving LAC...
He'll toy with them over the summer to get a big contract, but hes not gonna leave them with all the talent there.

This is one of the reasons why I think this can happen. If he loved LA so much how come he hasn't signed for max deal yet. Cause we all know LA can offer him the most money.
