Pretty good info on how changing bats throughout the years has affected college baseball.

From the chart hitters seem to adjust over time. I really hope the long ball, sucks getting excited when someone hits a double

We just gotta pitch well and get some timely hits.

Power numbers should get a little better when they introduce the pro size baseball...hopefully by next year.

Unfair these kids are using wood-power bats with a baseball that wont fly as far.

I could live with the 2006-2010 era bats. Not too hot, not too dead, just right.

These bats are not just dead, they're a drag on the soul. I'm serious.

From exactly where has the outcry come to deaden bats across the board?

Whatever the problem is, it's been overcorrected. The game feels broken right now without power hitting of any kind.

POWER HITTING AND HOME RUNS ARE PART OF BASEBALL.

Yeah, I played high school ball in the real live bat era. It was absurd and really kind of took away from the game. It does seem the pendulum has swung a little too far the other way now, though.

Yes, power hitters are. Every hitter is not supposed to be a power hitter, though. That cheapens the game.
