| Landrieu "We have to bring in more revenues" wants you to pay her share too. (Posted on 2/18/13 at 1:01 pm)
Now some of you may bitch about this apparent "hypocrisy". I am just happy she serves The People so selflessly. Even if it's while "traveling in Asia ". We are lucky to have Mary. She needs six more years, or 30 more for that matter. LINK

I despise with so much passion politicians use of the word revenue. They pretend in their minds that they are making or selling a damn service/ product.. They should call it what it is... Receipts

Fixed it. Woody Jenkins, Suzie Terrible and John Kennedy. Those are the 3 candidates we've put up against Mary Landrieu. Then after the selection of the GOP candidate, we've had usual Republican donors who get government contracts, LOGA, and other local Republican elected officials turn around and endorse her.

LINK Landrieu should concern herself with paying her own "revenues" to D.C. before she starts with us.

The Daily Caller website is reporting that Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., and her husband owe more than $1,200 in tax penalties on their Capitol Hill home. The political website takes Louisiana's senior senator to task for what it sees as hypocrisy: Just last week, Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu argued during a Capitol Hill hearing that the government needs more tax revenue. But in a twist of hypocrisy, the Louisiana senator and her husband appear to have not yet paid $1,206.95 in tax penalties to the District of Columbia government on their Capitol Hill home, The Daily Caller has learned. According to public records available online in the District of Columbia's "Real Property Assessment Database," the D.C. government has penalized Landrieu $1,003.33, plus $202.62 in interest, for 2012 taxes on her mansion on East Capitol Street. It is unclear what the penalty is for. Landrieu was traveling Monday to Asia with her husband and not available for comment, according to her office. The office said Landrieu is leading a congressional delegation trip to Asia focused on child welfare and adoption. Spokeswoman Amber McDowell said, Washington D.C. government offices are closed Monday for the Presidents Day holiday. "When they reopen, we will be able to supply you with additional information on this issue," McDowell said. The Daily Caller website said while the property is listed in the name of Landrieu's husband, Frank Snellings, "online search result listings indicate that the East Capitol home is Landrieu's address." The house is worth about $2.3 million dollars, according to online assessments. The posting also noted that "While owing tax penalties to D.C., Landrieu sits on the Senate committee that has oversight responsibilities over the city. She's a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee's subcommittee on oversight of government management, the federal workforce, and the District of Columbia."

I was outside her office in the Hale Boggs the other day. She had a line of people waiting to get in to find out about disability and how to get on it.....what a f-in joke. She needs revenue to please her constituents. Btw, why is her husband accompanying her on a federal trip?
