I'd imagine a pretty decent crowd for an NIT game. I know I'd be in attendance. Im sure about 8k-9k would make it.

Sure. I'm actually going to the Bama game (bought tickets from LSU for it).

This team is fun to watch.

LSU will probably not even bid for homecourt like last year. The Women's 1st and 2nd round happen to fall around the same time.

I would go. I think what they have done this year so far says that we as fans need to support them. Bad thing is I dont see any games the rest of the season I will be off for due to shift work.

LSU could host the first round of the NIT. The women's tournament isn't until the Sunday and the following Tuesday...a first round NIT game could be played at home on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I would go, I went to the Miss St game and that was the first one I had been to in years. I really enjoyed watching this team. I want to apply for season tickets for next year this summer.

The PMAC is almost full for priority points games. For a tourney game it would be full.

It sold out in 02 when we played ball state. Those guys couldn't miss from 3. There was a very long line to get tickets to the game. Great atmosphere, a shame we lost that game

Last year the NIT was on the 13 and 14 while the tournament was on the 18 and 20.

I was about to post this. LSU went on the road and beat Iowa in the first round, and Jermaine Williams called out our fans, basically saying he would rather play on the road because of a more exciting atmosphere.

The fans took the challenge, showed up for Ball State, and had a great, rocking' crowd... but the Tigers lost.

The NIT has turned into a better tourney, the last few years (media coverage is about the same though). It's not nearly as easy to get in anymore for an at-large. With that in mind, I think you'd see about as many as there were for the State game.

Ball State

Their three point shooting was off the charts...they even made one from near half court, as the shot clock was winding down.

If I remember correctly, they had nothing left for their next game and scored 12 or 14 in the first half.

The NCAA takes over the arena for pretty much the whole week.

I'd love to go to a home NIT game. I just don't think we'll get a high enough seed.
