With having now hired both an OC & DC that he trusts the play calling to?

Les has already amassed a 3-4 record vs Saban. I believe he'll pull that record back to an even 4-4 this year though with Cameron calling the offensive plays..

In the four games he lost, they were very close in three of them with a chance to win. It's not like there's a huge gap here.

Is any coach on a way to beat Saban 100% of the time? I'll take one that's .500 against him...gonna be sweet when we win next year.

Totally true, but he seems to have taken the opportunity to stack the deck with another really good hire. That's the sign of a leader. He has the intelligence and humility to make a move that helps the program.

The Nega-Tigers are now gonna jump on that analysis, but I deal with assholes all day.....

If the universe didn't hate LSU Les would be 4-2 against Saban and LSU would have back to back national titles.

3-3 in regular season games and 0-1 in do overs. I say the man is doing just fine.

No. Don't you know as long as Saban is at Bama we will never win another game? I mean, nothing. We will go 0-12 next year. Our volleyball team will even be garbage when they play Bama just because they're so intimidated by Saban. Jones is going to attempt an unprecedented mid-Season NCAA trade and is giving JOBIII to Bama. We're fricked. For life.

I'm going to go with an NFL coord being able to slice and dice Saban's college defense. It will be one hell of a chess match.

How about: Do what we did last time, without the awful prevent defense in the last minute.

He's the only college coach in the country to beat Saban, while at Alabama, more than once.

I feel better than usual now that we've got a OC with a Super Bowl ring from last year's NFL season.

Can't wait for the college season to kickoff.

Can we stop making threads about Bama, I'm tired of seeing their shite on here.

Cam Cameron was fired before the playoffs. Unless he was given a ring for the hell of it, he doesn't have one.

Harbaugh said he is giving him a ring. That says a lot about each of them. Not exactly "for the hell of it" big guy.

He was fired in week 13 out of 16 games. Harbaugh himself said for his contribution, he gets a ring.

quote:

Harbaugh said firing Cameron was "the hardest thing I've ever had to do as a coach." Cameron called the move "brilliant" because it forced the members of the Ravens' offense to refocus. Harbaugh told Sports Illustrated that Cameron would get a Super Bowl ring for his contributions to the season.

His offense was the thing holding them back, hence he was fired. I can understand him being given a ring because they are friends, I doubt it was because he did such a bang up job, "big guy".
