Which do you find funnier, physical or satirical/parody comedy?

I'm more of physical comedy person myself (ie The Three Stooges, Tom and Jerry, etc). Yes I still find Tom and Jerry hilarious. Deal with it.

I like three stooges, but satire is much more my style. Give me some Monty Python stuff any day. Parody can be good, but these days most parody stuff blows.

When physical comedy works within the context of the plot, I laugh myself to tears. But it fails more often than it works.

satirical/parodical comedy for me. When done right though, both are amazing and best when a mixture of the two are combined.

I don't think I have a real preference. Funny is funny, but it's got to be earned. Lazy humor/jokes bother me.

Andy Dwyer running into shite and being fat makes me laugh harder than just about anything.
