Booty, Rohan, Nall was supposed to be the greatest QB battle EVER.

Rohan was clearly the best college QB, but all 3 ended up playing in the NFL and seeing some snaps.

Yes, Craig Nall! Man there was a media circus around that. Jeez I also remember that shite pile of an Auburn game. Davey was terrible, Charlie Steiner was the pbp. All around terrible situation.

I saw Reuben Randle at Express in Pecanland Mall in Monroe over the weekend...I was the only one who recognized him. Ppl were wondering why I was taking a picture with him.

Not surprising that anyone in Monroe would recognize him. He played at Bastrop and Monroe doesn't like it when Bastrop beats one of their teams in high school football.

Was at the 2000 tenn game. Gutsiest performance I've seen. I remember Rohan on a severely sprained ankle. He would hide behind the o line so the LSU bench couldn't see his limp. That winning pass to Royal was sublime.

Ran across Ro at a local sports bar during the NFL playoffs, he was there yelling for the Pats & really got into the game. He looked good physically, especially in comparision to JR. Spoke to him briefly & told him he's in my personal LSU HOF for his & Reed's record setting game against bama when they lit up bama for over 600 yrds in passing/receiving. He laffed & said that because the game was so close, neither had any idea of the yardage they were piling up. He said he was trying to get his life back together & sounded positive & good.

Rohan was throwing during LSU Pro Day the last couple years. I have to say, he's still got it.

He worked as a courier at the law firm I interned at for a while. He was a very cool dude. He was going back to school at the time to finish out his degree and wanted to get into coaching as a QB coach. Not sure if he's still doing that or what.

Dropped him off at the LSU training facility once on my way to campus and we talked about his playing days and the record setting Bama game. Told me he didn't even realize he had set the passing record until after the game. Def my favorite LSU QB.

Met him one time at one of the early TAF tours back 2001-02 or so was signing autographs chatting with everyone. Very charismatic dude. Seem to recall ALL the players rallying around him and not Booty!

I thought for sure he would have a long NFL career.
Some of you just never learn. Have to be able to read defenses and do it quickly to play quarterback in the NFL. Can't just have a strong arm or be able to "Run real Fast." (Google Vince Young)

For sure. Played with Craig at NSU. Great guy! Broke a few school records the short time he was with us. He was Farve's back up for the longest while in Green Bay.

I think the world of Rohan, myself. Our two recent national championship years notwithstanding, 2001 was a ton of fun, and one of my favorite seasons ever.

I had high hopes that Rohan could take the leadership skills he displayed as a quarterback, and translate them into a successful coaching career.

We were very lucky that Rohan came along when he did, and his years just happen to coincide with Reed's. Those two were magic together.
