| Know of a 1099 Misc Template? (Posted on 2/13/13 at 11:34 am)
Having to reissue 45 of 2010 1099 Misc's and am not able to issue these out of the accounting system. I'm trying to avoid the typewriter here.
I've googled with no results, but does anyone know of a word or excel template that you can type all the info in so that it can be printed on the 1099 form?
The online fillable pdf's are not scannable by the IRS, thus I can't use those.

Do you have QuickBooks? If so, you can create a new company and vendors to receive the 1099's. You will need 2010 forms to print, but I think you can still purchase them from some suppliers. Another solution is to purchase the software and supplies from these guys. LINK

Nope, no quickbooks. I just exported the pdf 1099's to excel and might try to do this manually.

For those interested, I did get it to work in excel. Now doing 1099's is much easier if you have to do them manually for whatever reason. I just finished the template for 2012 1099's.
