Planning on putting one of these LINK in a Chevy Silverado. I just bought 4 aftermarket door speakers to replace the pieces of shite that chevy put in the 07's that seem to just go out. Would I be looking at any more output coming from this display over my current stock radio?

Oh yes. Especially since you upgraded your speakers.
Personally, I wouldn't get one with a disc changer if you can help it. If you have a digital input just run your ipod through it and play 1000x times the songs you would with any kind of discs. I notice your $600 sticker on it, they overprice the hell of out of disc changers where they're getting to be obsolete.

Most likely has an internal amplifier. Didn't see any technical specs on the Amazon page but you should be able to look them up through somewhere like Crutchfield or the consumer reviews.

Yeah I was looking to see how much wattage it runs out on it's own..
The standard used to be 50w x 4.. But that was back when I was into car stereo.. like years ago

This particular one had a disk changer, but getting the OEM replacement allows me to just plug and play. All of my steering wheel controls and everything else will work without having to buy anything else

Ah I didn't consider that. Ok this one looks to be good and $599 really isn't that bad because it is bad ass.

45x4 or 50x4 are actually the only two outputs I've ever seen.. on any car stereo (hundreds) so yeah I believe that's standard.
Look and see what each speaker can handle. Each speaker should be able to handle 3-4x more than that. You can put 150-200 watts easy on most quality speakers.

Yea i think they were rated for 100 or 150 watts. They are just 6.5" door speakers. I was hoping I wouldn't have to amplify them to get quality sound out of them after switching displays. Guess I will just wait to see how they sound when they come in

45x4, pretty standard. 25 watts RMS seems a bit weak though.

I just looked at all of the units that had over $1,000 and they all had similar ratings. And all of the RMS ratings were below 25 watts. Looks like if I need more power it will have to be from a small amp

Looks like a very cheaply made unit that you will be paying way too much for... I would go with a Pioneer AVIC nav unit if I were you. You may have to buy a few extra connections to make it work, but it will end up costing about the same and you will be getting a much better unit that is still supported. It looks like the unit you are looking at is discontinued, so definitely no upgrades in the future. I've owned 3 different AVIC units and have loved every one of them.

not necessarily true. New speakers might sound better, but may not be louder. Cheap speakers are often very efficient.

That is not an OEM unit, it is an OEM replacement unit. I'm sure that is why they have that name to confuse the common consumer.
The Pioneer will have a more refined interface and a cleaner look. There is a website dedicated to the pioneer avic units here > www.avic411.com to learn more about it.
There is more to buy to get all of the controls and onstar to work with the avic unit, but I would be a lot more comfortable with Pioneer if I were you. Google an aftermarket radio install for your truck and you can see the different connections you will need to buy to get it all working.
By the way, the unit that the other guy linked is not an avic unit and will not have navigation included. Check the link that I put up before for the latest avic unit for a decent cost.
