| Who has no intention of watching the State of the Union speech tonight? (Posted on 2/12/13 at 3:54 pm)
I will not watch. Not because it's Mardi Gras, because I live in Florida and we don't have one here. It's because I have reached the point of total disgust and of not believing anything he or most any other political figure has to say. Or what the talking heads on the various media outlets have to say about what he said. And because I know that they will do what they and their lobbyist masters want, not what they say anyway. So why spend an hour being manipulated, propagandized, or just plain lied-to - when I could be doing far more enjoyable things. So call this rant my vote of total no-confidence in this President and his Administration, and in this Congress. Are there no real statesmen or stateswomen left anywhere out there to put principle ahead of partisanship, and the good of the people ahead of their own interests? Silly question, I know.

I watch every SOTU. I was taught from a young age that it should be considered part of one's civic duty.

I never watch any of that crap. It's all lies anyway. The Dems will try and spin it positive, the Reps will counter with their lies and spin negatively. Then us poor working schmucks will foot the bill for all of it.

I'd rather watch re-runs of Falcons Crest.

I'm not going to watch any of it. Will watch Westminster. I was very upset that the Dachshund won last night. Ugly dog. I want to see some Labs.

These things are silly to watch. I did watch a couple of Reagan's and maybe one or two of GWBush's after 9/11. I even watched a couple of Clinton's. I would not watch this duplicitous bastard regardless of what he is supposed to be talking about - and especially the 'state of the union.' My tolerance for unvarnished hubris was reached a long time ago with this P.O.S.

I have no desire to watch a POS lecture me and my kind about us being the problem with today's society. My wife wants to watch, not that she believes what he says, just to see his tone. My blood pressure will rise and I will yell at the tv my will tell me to be quite. Obama will make both us miserable

Maybe if I thought he would actually talk about the state of the union. Instead, he'll likely continue to campaign, just like he has over the past four years. He'll promote his agenda, and that's it.

My intentions are to not listen to any of the lying frickheads. I'm tired of all of them sorry arse people lying and deviding us. They all need to talk about the motto that will be right behind Obama up on the wall, and that is" in God we trust" and decide if they really do.,if not then they need to take it down.

If I needed to lose a few pounds quickly I would because I literally get nauseous every time he comes on tv. I am so disappointed in the 1/6TH of our population that voted him back in. To think I served in the military long enough to retire and this clown is running this once great country into the ground truly saddens me. Oh, and to answer the OP, hell no!
