Lavezzi puts PSG up 1-0; went straight through the keepers hands.

yeah that was a strike
and btw, that longball played that led to the score in the cel-juv game is a perfect example of what i was talking about in the thread the other day. barca's defenders would just fall down and the foul would be on the offensive player

Celtic work so hard. I'm really rooting for them for that reason alone. They give 100% all game long.
ETA: And they put in a TON of good crosses.

I still disagree with your assessment of the current state of fouling in the game. That was just incredibly shitty defending by Ambrose, who shouldn't have started a day after returning from the AFCON.

absolute shite defending for sure, but it could have been cured by falling down upon contact

I like to imagine that Pirlo lives in a cabin in the Italian Alps drinking port and living off of that evil looking respiratory device while only periodically showing up for training. Then on match days he shows up in the dressing room five minutes prior to kickoff and proceeds to complete 150 passes over 90 minutes.

I just looked that up. Funny. And to the poster who asked earlier: No, honestly, I don't watch much Italian soccer.
