dumped my trophy level down to about 1000 from 1350 and i've raided over 1m gold and elixir today (each).
have yet to be attacked.
wish i had done this a long time ago. i wasn't even breaking even on my raids before this. it also allows me to build cheaper units and just demolish these guys.

I'm trying to get to 1200 trophies. Then I think I'll focus on raiding for coin and elixir.

ive dumped a bunch of trophies and having a ton more fun and success raiding. gonna run like this till all my shite is maxed out, and then maybe worry about trophies.

Yeah this is ridic, it's so much faster getting 200k of each resource per raid instead of struggling to break even on the elixir i spent on troops.

eh still playing with my setup for what im doing. but atm just running 4 WB's, 20 Gobs, 40 Barbs, 36 minions, 12 giants, and a healer. cost: 69k elixer + 360 DE

Damn why didn't I drop trophies sooner? 
so much better with less trophies. Even when I don't find a base 2 hit with 100k+ resources I can use less troops and still make a pretty good gain on my investment.
Also lvl 5 minions are legit
not gonna have to make as many now. They hold up better and do more damage. Archers that can fly over walls are badass.
