Poured nearly the whole time
Got ran off by the lightning twice
Slicked my finger (damn braided line)
Broke a rod (apparently academy does not stock Falcon rods anymore)
But I'm still glad I wasn't working! 
Oh yeah, we caught 5 bass. All solid fish, but they were full of eggs so we didn't keep any. First time fishing this particular lake for me.
Anyone else in SWLA familiar with Cypress Lake? It's amazing out there!

no, but they haven't had any in stock (per the manager) since way before the end of last year and it's not because they're selling them that fast

i have a mom and pop outdoors store (lake charles tackle) on my route, and i'm in pretty good with everyone there so i'm alright, but it still sucks academy doesn't carry them
