Hate is a strong word there boy. Maybe the legions of LSU fans and alums are just fed up with being Alafreakingbama's poor little step child. Tired of watching them win NC's. Some LSU'ers have higher standards of excellence than other LSU'ers.

They are are over there by the 'les does not need to change anything posters'. Les must be a negatiger, he saw a problem with the O that needed fixing and did something to address the problem.

I'm very pleased with the hire but unfortunately I'm in the, "I'll believe it when I see it." camp.

I hope and pray this hire gets the LSU offense out of the gutter but events over the last five years have lead me to be skeptical.

It seems almost foolish not to be.

I applaud him for making a change and I like the idea of an OC with pro experience. However, nothing has actually changed.....yet.

Aside from this hapless killjoy, they're waiting for the first turnover or blown coverage.

A better callout would be to say "where are all the posters who forced Les to change"?

Researching facts for why Cam Cameron actually sucks so that our first bad performance they can pile on.

Maybe he didn't have a choice, could have been discussed before his new deal was inked.

Everything remains to be seen. So far, all he's made is a significant cosmetic change. Putting Stud back on the sideline to coach the line should make a huge difference.

But our biggest problem has been coaching up quarterbacks. If you read Dandydon.com this morning I think the Brees' comments can be read a couple of different ways. Cam benched the guy for crying out loud. Cam was big in his career because he let him go to an organization and a coach that made him better. Flacco emerged after Caldwell turned him loose to make the passes and take risks. When has an LSU coach ever let a QB take a risk downfield since 2008?

I'm not saying it's a bad hire. I'm just saying it remains to be seen. Les made an excellent DC hire a few years ago.

Theyre still here, myself included. Watching all you pumpers drink all this Cam koolaid and counting your chickens before they hatch.

Cam and Les are old buddy old pals from Michigan days coaching together as assistants.

The feeling with most realists is that Les wanted Cam because he knew Cam just got fired and felt bad for his old bud. Les knew that Cam would take this job despite being an OC in name only. Les will still muddle this up. Be prepared for a lot more toss dive on 3rd and 22.

I was kind of pessimistic that he'd change the OC. I'll own it.

People who said Les would not change the OC were plain wrong. There are no if, buts or other qualifiers.

The fact you think anything said on a sports board would make anything change makes me at you.
