It's amusing that some really think they can see what the most successful staff in LSU history can't see.

Right?!

A dominant defense and game changing plays by the honey badger were responsible for that. The inept offense just didnt frick it up too badly. Until the end.

I honestly thought they were saving JJ and the downfield passing game until the NOV Alabama game. When they won because Bama's kicker had a bad day, I took it. But when the NCG came, I thought surely, they'll stretch Bama's defense out with vertical shots, surely they've seen Bama's weaknesses in the last few games and know how to exploit it. SURELY, they aren't going to come with the same inept gameplan they used in November.

I'll still never forgive Miles for fricking up what would have gone down as the best college season ever.

Somebody helped him come o the realization our offense has kept us from being where Alabama is. Good for that person.

He made the change from crowton. Y'all act like y'all knew kragthorpe would have gotten ill and that's somehow miles' fault. He quickly made a change and brought in a new guy.

Really? Miles wasn't on the field blocking, and verticals don't work without time.
Just everybody was throwing deep on Bama in '11 and it would've been a brilliant plan.

Well you gonna have to live with him for at least 7 more years pal. While you live to hate the most successful coach in LSU history I'll continue to enjoy the "Golden Age" of Tiger football and watching Les Miles compete for championships year in and year out.

We are waiting until something changes on the field.
We have heard this message several times since 2005.
First it t was Jimbo. When Jimbo left we got a sigh of relief.

The Hat knew he had to make a big change to stay in the top tier of the brutal SEC, a conference that just keeps getting more bad arses in it by the minute. Way to go getem Les!

The problem is that he is a good and decent man who is very loyal to those around him and waits 1 or 2 years too long to make the needed change

Krag/Stud 1st year as OC we go 13-1, win SEC, and lost championship game. Offense was average yardage wise but at the top of the conference in scoring and efficiency.

Krag/Stud 2nd year as OC we have a disappointing season and we hire a new OC.

How much quicker did you expect something to happen? Same thing with Co-DCs in 2008, one bad year and problem is fixed. Crowton was here 4 years but his first year was one of LSUs best offenses ever and the next two years were a problem because of forcing young QBs to play.

I don't understand the logic of those that say Miles is stubborn to change when things need to be fixed. If anything he has proven the opposite.

Well to start things off, since 2005 no SEC team has won more games than LSU. Offensively we have had 3 top tier offenses (2006, 07, and 11), 2 middle tier offenses (2005, 2008), and 3 lower tier offenses (2009-10, 12). Now for the second time following a poor offensive year Les has made a change to the staff to attempt to improve in this area. Unfortunately the first time his choice was unable to take the reigns due to an illness, but yet we managed to put a very successful and efficient offense on the field.

I don't know what else people expect Les to do. They act like we have had 8 years of bottom of the SEC offense and nothing has been done to fix it. Bottom line is a high percentage of Tiger fans have unrealistic expectations and expect LSU to beat every team by 4+ TDs. At the same time they forget that in Miles tenure we have won more games than any other SEC school, 1 NC, 2 SEC titles, and all of this is in the midst of the most dominant era in SEC history.

Its amazing isn't it?

I swear, leave it to these dumb asses to take something that could only possibly be viewed as a positive and still complain.

I can't believe that after this hire I'm still here shaking my head at some of these people.

I don't hate him, but his offenses have been very bad the last few years. Surely you agree with that. I am happy he has decided to make a change.
He decided to make a change two years ago, and did so. You cannot possibly blame him for what happened with Krags...in AUGUST of 2011. And then 13-0 against a brutal schedule scoring 40 ppg?

I mean, I wish he would've looked at doing this after 2011 season, but it isn't hard to see why he didn't. It worked, and we had an actual QB coming in and a great OL and RB stable too. I can understand giving Stud another year.

Again, I didn't like it, but I can see why he did it. And now he's changed OCs again.
