We get a real OC. I honestly don't know if we make that stop on 4th and 16 if anything would change.

It shouldn't have come down to the Clemson game.

Thats exactly what I was drunkenly shouting at my friends on NYE. If this means that we get a new OC it will all be worth it.

Thank you clemson

. With Les it always comes down to some program defining moment. Dude is incapable of making a big decision on the fly.

A decision was made, and if executed, would've been brilliant.

I thought that CLM was talking to Cameron about the move leading up to the Clemson game, not after.

I'd wager there have been talks in some capacity ever since Cam was fired in early December.

Yep. Good trade. If we score 40 that game and win no way we get a new coordinator.

Not much is gonna change with Cam. We might fix some of our horrible play calling but the offense is the same.

There was no "Silver Lining" to that L and if the rumors of a mid-Dec decision bout the OC are true, the bowl game had nothing to do with this decision.

Hopefully, that L and the mediocre pass D effort beginning with the last Bama drive, will cause Miles/Chief to work a lotttt harder on their coming season's pass D.

False. If there wasn't anyone available who is one of Les' good friends and who also happens to have a proven track record at the NFL and collegiate level, we would not have hired a new OC. This pickup was the result of incredible luck and it has as good a chance of working out as any other hire we could have possibly made.

If we had won that game 75-0, we still would have hired Cameron. Only difference is that Stud would be accepting an OC job another BCS school. But Les knows both of these men well and he knows that there is no question about which of the two is a better coordinator.

If you really want to thank someone, thank Harbaugh (or maybe Flacco, depending on what story you believe). But the Clemson game had zero effect on this decision.

That has nothing to do with our putrid offense, just gives us a W, and may I say we got many W's with this shitty offense. The change was needed win or lose!!
