I don't guess I've ever priced a McMillan stock, but damn I didn't know they were that high.

For that kind of $, I would like to hold and fondle a few different ones before I just up and ordered one off their web page.

Yeah. I imagine anyone going to order has built with them before or at least had their hands on them at some point. That'd definitely be an expensive blind buy.

That's badass. Thanks for the link.

I want also but here is the issue
These cats typically shoot at 800+ yards.
the longest range near me is 600 yards.
it's interesting to talk to him.....He chuckles when I talk AR15.
calls me a member of the "Spray and Pray crowd"
He says that a well placed round could do wayyyy more damage than a 30 round mag.

I custom ordered my Mcmillan from the factory. Really cool people. And yes, they are worth every penny. Most guys will be just as well off with a Bell and Carlson for LOT less money, but the there is no comparison to the Mcmillan.

If you ever pick one up you'll know you're holding a work of art.
They make other synthetic stocks feel like toys.

I've felt one. choirboy has a nice one.
Knowing me and my habits, if I ever get a long range gun past what I already have, I will get a McMillan.

Gotta agree. Once you shoot one, that's your new mark for how a stock should be.

Yeah. I messed up and shot a friends. Probably gonna build me one after 1 or 2 other purchases. I enjoy shooting an AR and the like. But nothing is sweeter and funner than shooting a high quality gun and being able to make shots you can make with a gun like that.
