Is it too early to start asking these questions? Personally, I just hope he doesn't get sacked 50 times this season.

This reminds me of the "will J. Jefferson win more than one Heismann?" posts of a few years ago...

He would have pushed 3000 yds next year even if we stuck with Stud. I'm looking for him to improve that 12td/7int ratio.

This reminds me of the "Mett will leave after this year for the NFL" posts before this past season. Dude would go beyond being an UDFA.

Yep. I remember the 3500+ yards 30+ TD's predictions by a shite ton of people.

I can see him getting 3000+ yards and around 20 TD's. I was one of his biggest criticizers, but he definitely progressed. I think he'll have a solid year. The O line will be much better and healthy, the receivers improved and we have a few new guys who can play right away, including some big body threats, and of course the running game will take some pressure of Mett.

Cameron has done well with developing QB's.

Just think if every game next year is like Alabama. He would be really special. I'm sure Cam will get us there.

If cam continues his trend of sculpting qbs into machines then mett will be dominant. I think he gets 3000 fairly easily

He will be close. I wouldn't expect for Mett to all of a sudden become a Heisman contender because of CC. I don't think one year is enough to dramatically improve his feet/pocket mobility and awareness. I am however, VERY excited to see what he can do with HR/AJ with 4 years to do it opposed to roughly six months
