We are going on a bachelor party this weekend and I was wondering if the bite is on. The weather is going to suck but we will be able to get out tomorrow. The plan is to head to the lump for tuna, wahoo, aj's and pick up some mangroves on the way home. We will be going out on a 37' Calcutta Catamaran that my buddy has. Any advice?

Have fun with that. I have heard a few descent wahoo reports, but that was out toward the west.

Went last weekend to lump. No advice except to try for the wahoo. They've been ravenous.

3-4 aren't bad in a cat. The west is the best. I got carnival or I'd be bumping fiberglass with you. Not really, I don't do the lump much anymore.

I've been on this boat in 4 footers and its not bad at all. I'm hoping the wahoo bite is on, they are my favorite to catch.

Haha, I know! The good news is this trip is more about drinking than fishing so if we have to stay close or not go it will still be a good time.

Buddy was out there Wed, ran out 60 miles in 1:38, got so bad they could spin boat to bring fish along side to gaff. Lost 3 over 60 with wind on on spool. 4:45 getting back. Granted they where in 36' mono hull, but as Venture stated keeping it track in the washing machine doesn't make for a memorable bachelor party. Unless of coarse he gets motor boated by a skank at Artie's and he pukes all day. And remind him no matter how bad he feels, marriage feels worse.

They've been saving themselves for you, they are pure as the driven snow. They make that Stacey chick look like a nun.
