He was trash with Dallas' talent. What on this green earth leads anyone to believe he's going to do anything with the Saints.

Jerry Jones doesn't own the Saints. That's what leads me. The talent we have isn't near what Dallas has, but I didn't expect anything good in the first year of a new defense anyway (especially considering we were statistically the worst defense in NFL history last year. We have nowhere to go but up and I think Ryan will be more free to run a defense how he sees fit and will have more input on what players he gets to put in his scheme. In Dallas, unless your name is Jerruh, you don't get to do shite of your own accord.

I don't see how any big time player or coach could be successful in that circus they call America's Team.

He'll be gone in 2 years.

What a boneheaded hire. Very shocked that Payton signed off on him.

No kidding. Greenpeace will show up trying to roll him into the GOM. Sean spent an entire season planning a change and this is what he came up with?

yeah, we should have stuck with Spags. That defense was setting records. No one had ever seen a defense play like that before.

well I think we should see what kind of changes he will make on defense with the players before we really have any idea of what we are talking about.

Ryan does look like a fat a-hole though. wonder if it has an effect on his coaching?

How are his numbers on turnovers?

The saints have shown that if they just have an opportunistic defense they are fine.

I don't know, posting from the phone. I'll take a look later when I get home from the parades.

I'm gonna go drink a couple hundred beers like our boy Rob Ryan and hope it doesn't rain.

I guess bashing Ryan is the new cool thing to do on ST. Sorry Coach
