I think LSU should be ranked higher in the TE department and a little higher at OL as well. I think DeSean Smith will be much better than most expect him to be.

No doubt about it. Smith is going to be a force in the coming years. His height and soft hands are going to make the QBs job much easier

I guess it's nice to get the recognition from Rivals and I do love our two pick-ups at the QB position this year. With that said, the QB position should be high priority every year. It IS the most important position on the field. There is one common thread among championship teams at every level and that is consistent play at the QB position. And it obvious why, they touch the ball 99% of the time on every offensive possession.

Well you have about an 80% chance of being correct with that prediction. I mean, in the last 10 years I can only remember '07 and '12 were there was no QB controversy. I don't expect there to a QB controversy this year unless Met takes a step back. But I don't see that happening with a more experienced OL in front of him, one year under his belt, and bigger WR's to deliver the ball to.
In terms of Retting and Jennings, I see them both being red-shirted and Jennings eventually getting the nod with a solid backup in Retting. Long term and if things go really well, I see Jennings declaring for the draft as a Jr. and Retting starting as a Sr. We'll see.
