The greatest part about this is that this guy actually has a proven track record and his name carries enough weight to where I think he wont just let Miles walk all over his plays/plan.

Yet most of the tards on here will argue with you that it is Miles' offense. Thanks for the info red, you usually produce good stuff.

Cam has the resume and the clout that Les will listen too.

Cam is so much more offensively qualified than Les it is not even debatable. An NFL offensive coordinator is so far and away more educated than a college guy (few acceptions) it will stun you of how we will look "cleaned up"

This alone should make LSU a few spots higher in the rankings as time goes on till September.

If Cam was given complete control of offense, an angel just earned its wings.

I've been saying this would be the case since the get go. Cam = head coach of offense, Chief = head coach of defense, Les will focus on recruiting & program management.

I would expect the offense would be run out of the same playbook seeing we have a senior QB. However, maybe he might change some of the routes within the plays to stretch the defense more.

IMO, nothing has ever been wrong with the offensive playbook. It was the flow of the play-calling.

i think les is realizing that he can go down as an lsu legend if he has a capable OC and lets him do his job, along with chavis. Les can just sit back and soak up the glory.

I feel like a good offensive play caller (the play was atrocious at many times last year) is what we were truly lacking last year and made the difference. Against teams like USC and Bama we got a lot of yards but just had trouble putting it in the end zone. IF this is true and IF Miles really let's Cameron have control of the offense like he did with Chavis and the defense, it's a HUGE improvement and LSU will start to win because of their offense, not in spite of it.
