Why do you want to cut Smith? The dream scenario would be him taking a major pay cut and staying on the team. He is still a good football player, but is just not worth $14 million or whatever it is.

Because they've all done so well in the NFL?

DC: Tomsula
1st round: Dion Jordan or Mingo
3rd: Rambo
FA: Nothing specific off the top of my head. Just to turn some guaranteed money into bonuses to free up cap space and plug some holes, similar to how we did last year.

DC: Crennel or Tomsula either is fine to me
1st: Mingo
3rd: Brandon Jenkins
FA: No idea, depends on the cuts.

A NT is a viable option in the 3rd if there is a guy there, but I like the potential of Jenkins as another pass rusher if he's healthy.

I'll give you mingo.

I just dont see how Matheiu is gonna be a good pro. Hes too short to play corner in the NFL. Who are you going to trust him covering over the top as a safety? TE's would be salivating.

Look, I loved the guy at LSU. But, taking off the P&G glasses, think about it.

Mathieu is an intriguing prospect. If his natural talent carries over to the next level them he will be a special player. Just so happens he plays for LSU. It's not like I said draft him in the first round.

Wtf does that have to do with anything. And yeah there have been some good lsu defensive players in the nfl

Landry
Bradie james
Spears
Webster

I think lsu is loaded with defensive talent

A monkey could have fielded the #3 defense against that schedule.

The beat FL by 4 who turned the ball over 6 times.......they let SC light them up like a Roman Candle.....I believe that was the ONLY 2 teams even worth mentioning in this conversation
