Without much detail I wanted to survey of the opinions here. Two options.

1. 2200 sqft house for 120 a foot built in 96. Nice neighborhood. Neighborhood surrounded buy older area. Easily afford this option. Comps come in at this price.

2. 2490 sqft house for 125 a foot. Built in 08. Most desirable neighborhood in city. Can afford but at top end of budget. Comps are 130-132 a foot.

Both by owner.

Opinions?

2. easy. if you go with 1 you'll probably have to change essential shite like roof/ac sooner than later not to mention you're gaining 15k on number 2 right off the bat.

Must be nice having prices like that. Come up to DC and you can pay $475/foot.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with you. It would just be more fun to be at the low end of the budget and have more play money.
