@BNightengale: The #StlCards talking about him in past tense, hoping he lives normal everyday life without baseball.

@jonmorosi: Mozeliak describes issue as being in his "neck, shoulder and arm."

@BNightengale: Carpenter tearfully informed the #Stlcards on Friday that he likely can't continue to pitch, most likely ending a brilliant career.

That's a blow. Especially after losing Lohse.

I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't such a raging fricking dickhead.

Oh you mean competitor who didn't kick people in the head with his cleats? You're right.

good ridance to carpenter...I'll always cherish the 3 run bomb Berkman hit off him in the 7th inning of game 5.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this. And I won't go the Cueto route like the other guy.

I've heard from friends in STL that Carp was a pretty cool guy if you met him, but fricking weird.

Compared to the bomb Pujols hit to win it, Berk's was a pop fly that was aided by that garbage ballpark.

I'm not sure of the mindset of the front office but pitching isnt really a need for St. Louis.

I don't always agree with Barry but when I do its because Chris Carpenter is a dick.

I'm certain I don't know what you're talking about. My team plays in the AL West.
