Any good? Never played a ME game. Never wanted to start halfway through the story, then I found out all three are on PS3 now.

Overall the trilogy is very good. If you don't care about having all of the DLC, than the trilogy pack is a good way to go. I believe the PS3 version has some enhancements over the 360 and pc versions, but I'm not 100% sure there.

Best version because it was lead platform.

Yeah I don't think I care about the DLC. A trilogy should be plenty of gaming time right?

You will get plenty of mileage out of the Mass Effect trilogy.

If you really really fall into the story, you'll log more game hours and play throughs than you thought you could handle.

It has a story worthy of the big screen. I ranted and raved about the story so much that my girlfriend actually wanted me to start a new playthrough so she could just sit and watch it unfold. (She's not a gamer but is a huge fan of great story and such)

I've actually played ME1 on 360, PS3 and PC and PC is easily the best version. They did do some enhancements for the PS3 version though:

And yes, even without all of the DLC there is still plenty of content.

The PS3 version of ME2 has Lair of the Shadowbroker and Prject Overlord in the actual game.

Sadly, Arrival is not included nor available.

*actually it may be available for PS3* If it isn't included on the disc, I recomend downloading it. Its almost required to bridge ME:2 and ME:3.

IMHO, the ME trilogy is probably the best new game series to come out in the last 10 years. I enjoyed 99.5% of the trilogy and after they "fixed" the endings I'd bump that up to 100% (new endings don't really change the story, but they definitely give much better closure that the original endings severely lacked).

Agree with all of this. I've beaten the ME1 twice, ME2 three times, and ME3 twice. I could easily go back and do it again if I had time and didn't have a huge backlog of other games to beat.

I really wish I knew more people that loved it as much as I do. The ME series does a fantastic job of really immersing the player and is one of the most emotionally investing games I've played. Sometimes I just wish I could randomly break into a heartfelt conversation with people about what happened to Mordin or that scene with Shepard leaving earth in ME3. *wipes away a tear*

I refuse to acknowledge any ending except for the insane fan theory. Which, of course, is the only ending that actually makes sense.

Also, since I can't find the GIF that Scruffy uses whenever ME3 is mentioned, I will just do this:

I really don't like the indoctrination theory because I like to believe that Shepard was a badass and was able to resist it till the end. Then BioWare decided he wasn't quite a big enough of a badass to reject reality and substitute his own, thus he had to pick between 3 very depressing choices. frick you god child and your retarded logic.
