i have an idea for a preseason football video and want to use this as "inspiration" but i don't know exactly where to start for the effects. can you guys point me in the right direction?

After Effects is your best bet Finch. You can choose where you want to start editing your video OR....you can just rip the intro and then splice it into an existing video.
Unless you are already familiar with AE or have experience with it, it's not something you learn overnight. Good luck.

What i was wanting was to do was take the gator logo, shop it up into a 3d blackimage. Then do the balls of light behind it highlights of mick hubert in the background. Also, with the balls of light shattering the logo. And then have the muschamp stare right there at the end like the joker card.
