Taking a long hard look at Far Cry 3 right now. Worth the purchase? Or should I wait for other games.

Really anything. A nice sanbox type game with free roam would be nice. Looked at some Far Cry videos and really like the way it looks.

I've heard Far Cry is only good for a play through and not worth it to buy it.

Most single player campaigns in FPS games are good for one play through. You're not going to see anything any different on future play throughs.

ooh, I thought you were implying most FPS games aren't worth buying and immediately thought of BF3 and BLOPS.
I agree that campaigns are just there and only good for a play through. I only played the BF3 campaign just to get through it before I started playing online.

Far Cry 3 for sure.
The environment/world and sold story are well worth it.
I spent so much time hunting, driving all over the place, riding sea doo's all over, just for the hell of it.
Finding badass ramp spots for the 4 wheeler, gliding all over, shite is awesome. So much to do.

hitman absolution. just got it from gamefly and i loved it. definitely some replay value.
