| Ladies of the OT- Pandora Bracelet Question (Posted on 2/2/13 at 3:03 pm)
I want to get the wife a Pandora Bracelet for Valentines day, so I was wondering how many charms is acceptable to start with. Do you fill it from the get go or is 2 or 3 enough to start.
I am clueless so any help is appreciated.

I would recomend 2-3 charms and 2 stoppers that will hold the charms in place. They will explain that when you buy. Make sure to get bracelet long enough to hold several charms as time goes by. The more you have the smaller the bracelet will fit.

I received one recently and it is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I love that charms can be added for each birthday, anniversary, Christmas, different special events, etc. Lots of women change out charms depending on their outfits-I might go from all silver to only purple and gold for a game, or only pink for valentines day, etc.
it is a fabulous gift!!!!
I know that the hallmarks sell a collection of beads that will fit on their also. They are very inexpensive...maybe 6$ a piece? I don't know what the difference is between those and the 30$ ones at the jewelry store.
My daughter has one also (she's 8) and it is a great present for her b. we can buy her charms to add on her different special days. A cross for first Eucharist, ballet slipper for a recital, etc.
Eta. 2/3 with 2 stoppers is perfect. I recommend a local jeweler before a chain. They have jewelers in house so they can fix it there and don't have to mail it off. I bought my mom one..she needed an adjustment...they had it sautered and fixed right in 10 min.

Look at pattons website. Mine came from there.
Daughters came from zales...they make a "junior" line.
The one I bought my mom came from Kay but I wasn't happy with their customer service. I had her go to pattons to get it lengthened.
