The guy is a douche, we all know this. However, it's important to note that he was a big part of keeping the Saints in New Orleans after Katrina. Look it up.

Roger definitely could have managed the situation better...but the Saints brought it on themselves. I love the team (not my #1) and want to see them do well, but the fans seem to think they don't deserve any consequence.

Consequences are not the issue. The NFL STILL hasn't shown proof and is actually combative when it's brought up. Suspending a head coach for a year and a GM for half a season was unprecedented and ridiculous without hard proof. Then he strips draft picks for 2 years which actually sets back a team even more. 2nd rounders are usually impact type guys. And to top it all off Goodell is a smug prick about it. He completely overstepped his authority as evident by Tags overruling him on player suspensions.
