done a lot of Marlin fishing/blue water boating, doesn't seem likely, have seen that where the boat is taking on water and the bilge pump(s) failed, or had been installed in reverse after maintenance

I've done a lot of Marlin tournaments in EKW, and a popular story among the captains(who are all lazy arse, lying drunks ,)is about a guy who was trying to get strapped in to the fighting chair, after they got a marlin on, who tried to set tension/fight the fish, before being secured to the seat, supposedly the marlin took his arse for a ride and was never found, who knows, but I've been hearing that down there for years
