Sanchito LSU Fan Member since Apr 2012 700 posts	Trailer Title Transfer (Posted on 1/31/13 at 11:27 am) Myself and a buddy of mine bought a utility trailer a while back to haul our shite to and from the hunting camp. Well we have pussy footed around and have yet to get the trailer actually put into our names. My questions is will both of us need to be present at the DMV?

If it says John and Mary Smith both have to sign off to sell. If it says John or Mary Smith only one has to sign off to sell.

Just call the notary and explain. Have one party show up one day and sign over the title. Leave it there until the buyer can go and pick it up.
