| Obamacare 'Glitch'- No financial assistance from the government (Posted on 1/31/13 at 9:38 am)

Obamacare 'Glitch' Allows Some Families To Be Priced Out Of Health Insurance WASHINGTON — Some families could get priced out of health insurance due to what's being called a glitch in President Barack Obama's overhaul law. IRS regulations issued Wednesday failed to fix the problem as liberal backers of the president's plan had hoped. As a result, some families that can't afford the employer coverage that they are offered on the job will not be able to get financial assistance from the government to buy private health insurance on their own. How many people will be affected is unclear. The Obama administration says its hands were tied by the way Congress wrote the law. Officials said the administration tried to mitigate the impact. Families that can't get coverage because of the glitch will not face a tax penalty for remaining uninsured, the IRS rules said.

Reason # 47618 that it is important to actually read the bill before voting on it.

Wait a second. You mean, Obamacare is increasing costs and causing other people to not be able to get insurance? How can that be? Liberals, what do you say about this? Did you ever think, that for one second, that Obamacare would ever not work properly? I mean, it seems almost impossible right? Who would have thought a 2,400 page bill that wasn't read and pushed through as law, could ever be flawed? Will you protest the government for not covering everyone as promised? Or are you content in doing what you are told, and being a good slave?

Wait till he blames this on Republicans. Considering it passed right down party lines...it's gonna be hilarious.

You know it's going real badly when Obama blames the republicans for a glitch in something democrats wrote that disallows the government to offer their --cheaper than others plan-- forcing all others out.

Well of course it's not the administration's fault. Nothing ever is. Just got to pass it to find out what's in it!

I remember Obama was proud that the bill was called Obamacare. The guy flip flops every day. He takes ownership when it's convenient and runs for the hills when something is amiss. The truth is that he provided little leadership at all, and that Pelosi did most of the work on this abomination. Obama was just a cheerleader.

ObamaCare is nothing but nationalization of health care. If it were truly a 'caring' non gov run plan. COBRA and the ridiculous prices that no one can afford when they don't have a job and Dental, vision insurance, would have been addressed. If we are all going to all pay for everyones healthcare that can't afford it. AND for illegals; that tell me to my face they are only in America to work three jobs, make about 50K and leave and buy a huge ranch in Mexico. ObamaCare should at least include dental and vision.

Obama could have vetoed the bill if he was aware of this problem. Isn't that the purpose of veto power to prevent bad laws from being enacted? I haven't read of any proposals from the White House for Congress to pass any corrective legislation. Why not?

Yes, but Nancy always needs to create more problems to fix. It justifies her existence.

Thanks John. You could have shitcanned this whole thing last Summer, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, you did not want to "politicize" the Court and in so doing, not only did you allow this abortion to survive, you removed any limit on federal power. Kudos to you...dumbass.

I don't suppose the Obama administration is too worked up about this "glitch." They might even be high-fiving one another. It just hastens the eventuality of more government fixes. Like single-payer.
