What's your projected 11, or really your preferred 11.

-------------------Altidore-----------------
Johnson---------Dempsey-----------Zusi
-----------Bradley---Jones------------
Lichaj---Cameron---Gonzalez---Chandler
-------------------Howard------------------

The back line is a bit underwhelming, especially if Cherundolo and Johnson aren't fit. If those two are capable of going my back four changes dramatically.

If Fabian Johnson is fit, he's playing left back.

When's the last time Lichaj got a cap? I say this because I doubt Jurgy throws him in there for a WCQ. Sadly you probably see Castillo before him.

ETA: This is assuming that Fab and Dolo are hurt and not playing

oh I agree, I'm just working under the assumption that he and cherundolo are both no-go's. My LM is Eddie, who played there during our last WCQ and really connected well with Dempsey.

I'm not sure he's had one under Klinsmann. He keeps giving Castillo chances back there when Johnson isn't available.

He hasn't been capped under Jurgen.

I really, really think Lichaj makes it into this camp. He's played somewhat regularly for Villa, at this point Jurgen can't ignore that, he basically has to call him up..

Well according to some posters on here GAM should never be called up ever again.

-------------------Altidore-----------------
GAM---------Dempsey-----------Zusi
-----------Bradley---Jones------------
Johnson---Cameron---Gonzalez---Chandler
-------------------Howard------------------

Let Bradley play box to box and Jones can be the holding mid

We don't need Jones' crazy arse playing holding mid in a foreign Hispanic country. He'll be carded so quickly.

This. To me he's best off the bench. Limits his liability.

ETA: Slight variation on 225's

I like that a lot. I (like all of you) am desperate to see Jozy's form at AZ continue on the national team, fingers crossed. I also want to see Feilhaber get a shot in the MF somewhere if things get clusterfricked in Honduras and we can't create anything.

I will be pissed if Altidore does not start.

I am generally one of the bigger supporters of Jermaine Jones compared to most of you, but I might be afraid to play him on the road. Maybe only deploy him for the home fixtures.

I am sad about not having Landycakes.

I am excited to see some new faces. He will be back when it's all said and done, I think.

This. My bottom line is if he doesn't come back thanks to him for all he's done, but I don't see him passing up his last chance to play in a WC

If Danny Williams is healthy, I'd much rather see him starting over Jermaine Jones. I'd love to see Gatt start wide, but Klinsmann hates width. I wouldn't be disappointed if Zusi starts, because at least he tries shite and can recycle possession.

I really don't think Gomez and Altidore fit well together, Would much prefer Boyd or Agudelo up the middle with Altidore just off them.

ETA: you people are crazy if you think Jurgen isn't going to start at least one of the three (Beckerman/Jones/Williams)

Hell away he'll probably start 2/3.
