What do you mean, you people?

I think people would be surprised of the size of deer that come from the Jackson/Bienvile and the Winn/Jackson line area. Claiborne and Webster also produces big bucks.
There are no big bucks or deer in Union so stay out.

Killed a 135 inch 10 pt in Jackson a few years ago, and the club it came from has killed several nice deer since. Funny how a big kill can change the minds of meat hunters.

Back when I was growing up there, quite a few big ones were killed off 68 and down around Thompson Creek and the Mississippi River area.
Gaines Farm next to Asphodel on 68 shot a good size one when I was about 15. So I know at least East Feliciana has them. Also out Dr Jack's on the cutover between Norwood and Liberty there are usually quite a few standing around in his fields. Generally saw at least 1 big one every time. A lot of hardwoods there in the hilly areas. I've heard they get sone pretty big ones from the Tunica area out near Angola and Tunica Falls as well.
