Sheakspear has a few nice inexpensive combos.

I got an old shimano sienna I like. Never gave me any problems. Even landed some trout with it.

I grew up on pencil sharpeners, but cannot believe adults still use them. Ultra-light spinning is so much better. Line twist is the only negative.

I use the zebco 11 for my sacalait fishing. it's so light and easy to throw those tube jigs on road runner spinners. love it. can feel the lightest bites. replace them about every 2 years though.

For ultra light spinning, you can't go wrong with a Shimano sienna 500, browning superlight, or bps microlight
For spin cast, which I like to use when cricket/ cork fishing... I have a zebco micro 11 platinum titanium

I picked up a bill dance ultra light from bass pro for like $40. Pretty good for 40 bones.

The goal is to catch fish, not to have the shiniest new shite. If you can't catch bream and sacalait on an old zebco you might need a new hobby. What do you think people used before ultralights? Also, why do always have to start insulting people you disagree with? What are you 9?
