Apparently RM opened his mouth and said he was the best WR ever. Of course this honor without a doubt goes to Jerry Rice. But some radio announcers were trying to come up with the # 2 greatest. And only could come up with a couple of names . Irvin , TO & Moss were the most said. Who says you ?

if you throw stats out the window (and most will never do this), moss is/was a phenom. more so than jerry. in fact, i've seen moss make catches that i've never seen jerry make (mostly because jerry had joe and steve putting it on the money).
however, bring in the stats, and jerry is the GOAT.

Jerry is the GOAT. He caught everything thrown his way Ran better routes than Randy and never took a play off. Plus, jerry was one of the best blockers as a WR of all time as well. It's really not as close as people want to make it out to be.

If Moss had Jerry Rice's work ethic he could have surpassed him. Jerry wasn't naturally gifted like Moss is he had to work harder than everyone else. It helped having Joe Montana and Steve Young most of his career too.
