Potential to be better than Trent Richardson/Kevin Faulk? I know its early, but how much of a chance does LSU have and who are some serious contenders for him?

I know LSU has the inside track and he skipped out on the Bama junior day which was suppose to be the next suitor for him.

If he has the work ethic he can be as good as anyone. But it's all BAMA and LSU right now, but most think LSU has a good lead.

Bama - LSU battle. I think we hold a slight lead right now. He would be crazy not to come here especially considering how bare our backfield will be after next year.

wilson knows all about talent. we aren't leaving this year open at rb unless wilson believes Fournette is really special. Special would be significantly better than Hill who looked really good as a freshman.

promising but ultimately unknown

Very good. We've sold out to get him by not recruiting any RBs in 2013.

his cousin tells me ND could become a player, and he will likely visit there eventually, but LSU leads

Best RB prospect since Peterson. Will be surprised if he doesn't ultimately end up at LSU.

IMO I feel better about Fournette than I do the other big guys coming out of LA in 2014. Between the fact Alabama has been signing three highly touted RB's each class (already has one or two for next year)and we will be bare after Blue leaves and Hilliard will be a SR, Hill a JR, it's a perfect situation. I actually see a third team coming into the mix before he goes to Alabama. But I am speaking of the holy saban, I guess he could somehow sway LF into going to BAMA.

I saw that he and his family are more focused on him getting an education rather than football. He wants to major in engineering and seems to have a good head on his shoulders

We have a better than average chance and he has a chance to be the GOAT, but, surpassing K. Faulk will be a VERY big mountain to climb. Too many variables to tell yet.

As good as K.Faulk was he was not in the same league as Cecil Collins. I was there for the Houston game wheen Kevin single handedly brought us back to win on two great plays at the end of the game. I was also at the Auburn game when Cecil did everything in his power to win the game for us but couldn't over come Dinardo's stupidty in the end.

Cecil was best back I have ever seen run the ball in Tiger Stadium.

kevin was the most important recruit to come to LSU in the last 20 years.

I would be shocked if he goes anywhere but LSU
He has been a LSU fan for a long time
