Still the greatest space combat sim ever made.
Re-installed and played for the first time in 15 years, and it is a blast. Sometimes developers just flat-out get it right.
Single-player campaign = Beastly
Cast= money
Gameplay= tits
An absolute shame they stopped making them. Mark Hamill's still alive, and the gameplay ages like wine.

Wait, the Joker voice from Batman TAS is in this? I might have to check this game out.
ETA: Noticed this is a space fighter pilot game, so maybe Luke Skywalker is more relevant to other posters.

It's bad ass
You'll have to get dosbox to get it to work.
It is a space fighter with fmv cutscenes.
It also is choice heavy, with multiple paths and endings.

Nice find. I may have to spend the $5.99 on it. Wing Commander series is still near the top of PC gaming for me.

Tie Fighter was the best, far better than XvT. Regarded as one of the best computer games of all time.
WC4 was fantastic, but I'm a Star Wars geek.

I never got a chance to play that one. I did play the crap out of Wing Commander Prophecy. I'll have to look into playing it once I build my PC.

I still have not downloaded this free WC saga game New WC game
There is another WC type game from WC creator. Space sim
I really need to get a good controller/joystick for space/flight sims.
