| Shameless Episode 1/27: "May I Trim Your Hedges?" (Posted on 1/28/13 at 12:49 pm)

Frank tells Carl he has cancer so he can scam a charity foundation. Fiona is blown away by what she's asked to do to get a job as a cashier. Lip leads a crusade to hunt down pedophiles in the neighborhood - until one of the offenders turns out to be a she.
Thought this was a pretty good episode. Frank obviously has no low this season as he is "giving shots" to babies and faking his child's cancer to score a couple bucks. I thought they were going to prolong the storyline of Vee and her boyfriend's wife's child but they wrapped that up pretty quickly. Also, the pedophile arc was rather strange and shortly lived as well. This episode was filled with a good bit of temporary story lines.

I still find it thoroughly entertaining for one hour each week. It is starting to feel a bit stale for me three seasons in but there are so many characters that it is hard to get bored. And William H. does such a damn good job at playing the drunk degenerate, Frank, that it is hard to look away.
