What was in Schlitz & Giggles downtown before?

Ha! That came up with my wife and I a couple of weekends ago (We got a quick slice and a beer there before going to a movie at the Shaw Center).
When I moved back to Baton Rouge in 2004, my co-workers took me there to lunch on my first day. I remember the food at Motoranos was real good. But it was always hot as hell in that place. And about the last thing I want to eat for lunch is pasta.

I never went there when it was open and I guess
this a moot point now but I believe it was actually "Mortorano's".
