I've been curious to see this film ever since I read the review in the New York Times in 2008. Just was able to watch it for the first time. It was an uncharacteristically positive review if I remember correctly. It was an interesting watch. There was a point in this film at which Van Damme became an actor in my eyes. I've always liked him and loved his earlier cheese, but this is the first time I respected him. If you're a fan you should give it a watch. I haven't seen The Expendables 2 yet, but seeing as how Chuck Norris is in it as well, it's got to be at least fun.

It is good, and I liked it.
JCVD is the best part of Ex 2. He plays a stone cold killer really well.
