Moulin Rouge would have to be among my top, and one of the worst over-the-top bullshite films I've ever seen. I am really curious how any male can remotely enjoy this pile of dung.

That's the worst, and here are a few others that I won't delve into unless asked:

Monster's Ball
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
The Blair Witch Project
Cold Mountain
There's Something About Mary (I don't despise this one, I just don't see what's so funny about it)
Mystic River

Agree

Mystic River

I think it's good but don't know how it won so many awards. Plus Laura Linney's speech to Penn at the end drops it a point every time I watch it.

Napoleon Dynamite - not funny

Definitely. I thought my best friend lost his mind when he told me it was one of the funniest movies he's ever seen.

Sorry, I just don't. I read the novella before the movie came out, and I didn't like it, either. I'm just not a Stephen King fan.

Do Billy Madison, The Waterboy and Happy Feet count? Because I despise those.

I'm going to catch shite for this, but I have to go with Godfather.

I just don't like it all that much.

Also Apocalypse Now, English Patient, Dances with Wolves, the remake of DWW known as Avatar, and Little Miss Sunshine.

Ok. The only other movies that I really despise are E.T., Crash and Lost in Translation.

ETA: And Happy Feet should count because it won an Oscar.

Agreed

Understandable since I hated it my first viewing. You have to be in the characters' shoes at least once to appreciate or even like this movie.

Well, shite, 2006 was an incredibly weak year for animation, with its other contenders being fricking Cars and Monster House. Obviously with that as competition, they're going with the pretentious bullshite that preaches to save the environment and be yourself. I'll allow it as a suitable answer though because of that.
