This looks more like the New Orleans Aviators! Ball with wings from the side, the aviator cap and the tail of airplane.....they rushed this idea and are forcing it down our throats....RE-BRAND in 2 years guaranteed!

I guarantee you're wrong.
1) Old man Benson likes it and he's really the only one they have to please.
2) I think the gear will sell quite well. This wasn't rushed, it actually seems quite calculated from a marketing perspective the way they feature New Orleans. On top of selling to fans of the team, it should appeal to tourists and locals that aren't basketball fans.

Morons....not talking about the team name! I am talking about the main logo! The Nola Logo and the Crescent City logo with be what they use the most...that pelican logo will fade out or be re-done!

Fascinating. It's odd, then, that the primary seems to be the most popular among the comments so far and is the one selling the most merchandise in the last 24 hours.
I really like a couple of the secondary logos, as well.

There's nothing wrong with the main logo. It actually looks pretty good on merch.
I think you're complaining specifically about the bird by itself. I agree it's weak on it's own, but it will stick around because it's part of the main logo which is strong. And maybe the others do get used more, but that happened with the Hornets too as the Fleur de Bee supplanted the cartoonish Hugo in many places. But go ahead and keep insulting us as if you know better even though you're just emotional knee jerking rather than having actually thought this through.
