I have a buddy that went to Beech HS (5A) where this kid plays and he tells me that he is breaking all sorts of records. Urban Meyer was in town last week and Saban comes after NSD.

I watched a video he sent me on my phone (sorry can't post it) and it was outrageous.

I want him no where near an SEC West team.

Anybody here seen this kid play?

ETA:

yes I know we're all in for Fournette, but just check this kid out if you have subs to the recruiting sites.

Hurd missed 2 games and didn't play the 2nd half in 3 games and still had 3500 yards rushing this year.

He also embarrassed the opposing team in the State Championship.

He will be a force in college and pros. Physical freak.

Seen the highlights and I think the coaches have already been to visit him, but I don't think Urban lets this one get away.

Fournette and Hurd definitely would be a nice two-headed monster

From my hometown. Dude is ridiculous. Worthy of the offers being thrown his way. Don't think our staff really cared though. He's TN's version of Fournette, who we are all over.

Fournette isn't going to be the only RB we take in 2014 we will take at least 2 or 3

Damn son.

YPC is only a little higher than Fournette however he doubled the TDs and total yards. Holy smokes. I guess he just got the ball more.

Absolutley, I just know these studs don't like to split carries with other studs usually.

Alabama has seemed to make that work. I think this kids are realizing how physical this game is and you just can't be a 30+ carry guy anymore

yeah my co-worker played football at Beech and still keeps in touch. He said the same thing.

They also think UT's new staff is about to bring in the big guns to try and keep this kid in-state. They are circling the wagons.

I want him to shock the world and go to in-city Vanderbilt

Yes, I graduated from Hendersonville High. Beech's rival across town. Jalen will either end up at OSU or Bama.

Lol, of course.

Word around town is he doesn't like Bama at all according to my Beech HS colleague. Its all OSU with UF and UT trying to get their nose in the door.

I'm talking the ole Houston Nutt "hire their highschool coach and/or dad" move.

That is the word supposedly.
