This LSU Basketball Team has a lot of heart

Have they dropped a few games they could've won? Yea
Do they make some bad decisions and play inconsistent? Yea
But there hasn't been a game that's gone by where each and every player hasn't given their all for LSU.
When they get down, they don't hang their heads and roll over. They get in eachother's faces, they talk each other up, they celebrate each others big plays, and they play twice as hard.
From Hickey diving and lunging for every ball that comes on his side of the floor, to Carmouche's leadership and clutch play despite his struggles, to Stringer's intensity, I'm proud of this team for the heart they display every game. There are multiple games where we could've laid down and lost by 20 (which happened multiple times a season in previous eras) but they have always fought to stay in every game.
This season, you can't ask for much else. If the core of this team stays together and their 'never say die' attitude rubs off on the new guys...watch out

It was nice to see that effort versus Florida after playing like arse previously vs auburn.

Auburn was up like 12 at one point early on, and we battled back on a big run. Just lost it late.

LSU should be 3-1 in the SEC with the crappy teams they've played so far. That's disappointing. But they're still fighting.

I agree completely. They definitely haven't met expectations (as low as they were initially) but atleast you can't tell when you watch their energy on the court.

This team would be pretty decent if they shot worth a damn. They play uptempo, get 18 steals and 20 turnovers yet only score 58 points. They miss so many point blank shots.
We need shooters next year.

We just can't make wide open shots. And we go dry after getting like 4 steals in a row. It's frustrating but we got the W

Huh? It was never under 10 points after the 5 minute mark. Go check the game log.

I don't see any mistakes. Think he's laughing at your notion we should be 3-1.
Per Vegas we should be 2-3 as we've been favored in only 2 of our 5 games.

gotta love the fight from these guys

Carmouche is the worst shooter I have ever seen. He made one three pointer tonight, but took about ten of them. Does Johnny make them shoot free throws at practice? It doesn't look like it. If the f*ckin students would stop doing spirit fingers while we shoot the free throws, we might make a few. I'll take the W

None of them are really shooters though. Though admittedly I haven't seen that much film on Quarterman

Pretty sure we were favored against UGA, USCe, and Auburn...

I'm not gambler, but I'm pretty sure that says it was -10 LSU.

Right LSU was laying the points in those three games.
