I got a little 6 wt. "beginner's" set at Bass Pro a few years ago. Unfortunately, one of my old campers snapped the rod tip and I keep forgetting to fix or replace it. Next time you to go BP or Cabela's take a look. I think White River was the brand name?

TFO makes really good inexpensive fly rods. They use the same blanks as some much more expensive brands.

Go bigger than 6. I bought my 6 to use for bass/perch. Maybe 8-10?
