FWIW, every encounter I have had with LDWF has been pleasurable and professional, those with USCG or USFWS were not very enjoyable

Dude is wearing tennis shoes, blue jeans, and a cotton shirt in a cold, wet environment. I would say his outdoor skills are somewhat less than what the Coast Guard guy described.
