They have a for sale sign hanging on it.

Their phone number 985-594-5525 gives you a message that it "has been temporarily disconnected; no additional information is available".

Anyone know what is up with the place? Since they opened, it looked like they had more money than they knew what to do with; now they're closed?

We should buy it, that way my wife has absolutely no reason to bitch at me for being down there all summer. It's a win win.

The bad part is that Coon Schouest and others were going to guide out of there this year and have already left Coco Marina! That sucks.

I'll miss the excellent dock help. I will not miss the wake zone to get there. If there is another way, learn me as I am out of Four points

That was a problem. You had to make a booze cruise out of going there and go at sunset to make it bearable. There is a real opportunity for Coco Marina or Boudreaux's marina to pick up what they were doing now...

OR

The reason Coco Marina and Boudreaux's marina are still open is because they are NOT doing what Trade Winds did. That's the other side of the coin I suppose.

While I loved having that tackle room, live bait, frozen bait, offshore bait, etc., there, not having that overhead in a known 7 month fishery might be wise?

That sucks...you could always count on them having some live bait

I kinda liked that booze cruise personally. I could pound at least 3 cool ones in that stretch.

Yeah, that's a big problem, especially when you can go out of Boudreaux's and just about run right out.

They put so much money into it at first, they had to make serious cake to keep it a float.

Weird, I passed it on Monday and didn't even notice the sign. I've never even been there but was looking forward to the OBGT at the rodeo this summer. We really need Neck or Conundrum to chime in and tell us what's up since he guides out of there. frick Cocodrie!

Eta: I'll text Conundrum and see what's up
