Typically I do it like this unless they are big time dogs (15+)
1 Unit Play: .5 ML
1.5 Unit Play: 1* ML (sometimes .75* if DG has them winning straight up)
2 Unit Play: 1.25* ML if I REALLY love it, I'll put 1.5.
I do it for every dog but if I'm not as confident in them winning, I'll put about .25 less on the ML. So basically yeah I guess to win .5 units, but it really does depend on my confidence of said pick.
